Obituary for Shannon Dean Bogart

Shannon Dean

“ Bogart “

June 27th, 1965 - June 21st, 2019

Bogart was a man that loved you and didn’t even have to say it ( only saying “ you too “ ) his actions never failed to show us how he truly felt, with his words of wisdom , the respect he gave , his willingness to correct you when you were wrong & ALWAYS THERE to lend you a ear and a helping hand .
You couldn’t cross his path and not connect with him, an instant friendship would begin.
Everything about him will be missed, his love for race cars & auto mechanics, from him showing up for coffee time with those he loved, his insistence on Ham for every holiday , his refusal of eating anything made with eggs in it, to his love of, chocolate milk with donuts, sweet Little Debbie snack Cakes & his pet names for each of those closest to him.

Shannon was an excellent father to 7 children , Dakota Bogart , Kyenne Bogart, Zachary Long , Stevie Slavens Sr. , Darin Slavens, Branden Slavens Sr. & John Ryan Slavens , The best Brother to Shelley Holder & Donald “ Shane “ Van Cleve , 11 grandchildren, Uncle to 4 nephews & 3 nieces , great uncle to many , life-long best friends were Phyllis Slavens & John Henry Eagleburger , & host of many other friends that became family. He was living with his sister in law Jennifer Van Cleve in Ozark, Mo. Each and every one played a huge role in his life & he in ours.

He is proceeded in death by his mom Nancy Bogart, dad Erwin “Don “ Van Cleve & Grandma Evelyn Van Cleve.
He is deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all.

On the wings of a dove.
