Roger Allen Bodine, 64, of Springfield, died at home on November 23, 2021.
Born on October 11, 1957, in Springfield, MO, Roger was a much-loved son, brother and uncle who enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, reading, watching racing, listening to classic rock and attending area blues festivals. Roger was also a long-time employee of Race Brothers Farm and Home Supply.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, James Joseph Bodine, who passed away in May 1992, and Bertha Regina Bodine, who passed away on October 14, 2021.
Survivors include his siblings and in-laws, Marvin Bodine and his wife Patty, Bruce Bodine and his wife Sheila, Annette (Bodine) Henderson and her husband Kevin, and Anthony Bodine. Survivors also include his nephews, nieces and their families: Christopher Bodine, his wife Molly Greenwade, and their daughters Quinn and Claire Bodine, Elizabeth Bodine-Mankoo, her husband Ravinder Mankoo and their daughter Meera and son Keeran Mankoo, Regina Bodine-Hauskins, her husband Drew Hauskins and their son Jude Hauskins, Michael and Matthew Henderson, and Sarai, Rachel and Rebekah Bodine. He is also survived by his uncle Conrad Ganje, cousin Georgia Bastion and her husband Tom of California, and other uncles, aunts and cousins.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri.
