Obituary for Rodney Lynn Lofland
Rodney Lynn Lofland, age 62, of Springfield Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 4th, 2024.
He was born October 8th, 1961, in Decatur Illinois, the son of Kenneth and Eileen (Kinney) Lofland.
Rodney really enjoyed spending time mowing and taking care of the yard, since landscaping was a passion of his. He loved going bowling, listening to music, and hosting bar-be-cues with family and friends, but the most important thing to him was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Rodney is survived by his loving wife, Debra Loraine Lofland; two sons, Tyler and Christopher; two stepdaughters, Sheree and Rochelle; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, and many other extended family members and friends.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at Freedom Baptist Church: 2201 N Summit Ave, Springfield, MO 65803, with Deacon William Martin and Deacon Garry King officiating. A Repass will follow the service.
