Robert "Bob" Ira Dark, 82 of Nixa, MO passed away May 8, 2023, peacefully at his home. He was born July 20, 1940, to his parents Melville and Mildred Dark. He graduated from St. Agnes Catholic High in Springfield, MO.

He worked for Dairy Farmers of America until his retirement. He was an avid fan of Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, Kentucky Wildcats, and Nascar.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Mary Linda; and his sisters, Patricia (Dark) Etter & Barbara (Dark) Lee.

He is survived by his children, Stephanie (Dark) Stoner and Gregg Dark; grandchildren, Andrew Stoner, Ethan Schuhart, Darian Dark, Ciera (Dark) Dickey and Becca Dark. He is also survived by many friends and family that loved him dearly.

Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Visitation at 12:30 PM followed by the Memorial Mass at 1 PM, with Monsignor Reidy celebrating. Arrangements are under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Please join the family for a celebration of Bob’s life at Stephanie’s home following the funeral: 158 Shady Oak Dr, Nixa.
