Obituary for Richard Arthur Hayward
Richard A. Hayward of Springfield, MO passed away at 8:55 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Cox South hospital.
He was born in West Covina, California to Herbert and Betty Hayward. He graduated from Stockton High School.
He met the love of his life Tammy Hayward and after a short engagement they were married on January 11, 1986.
Richard worked as a hod carrier, in construction, for several years. He later worked as an OTR truck driver for 25 years. He loved to work on wood projects, fishing, and hunting. He also loved to spend time with his family, playing with his grandkids, and taking them on motorcycle rides. He will be missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Betty Hayward.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Hayward, his children Stephen, Kevin, Anthony Hayward, and his daughter in-law Candace Hayward and his seven grandchildren Taran, Tyler, Kylie, Aiden, Thea, Lilianna, and Keagan.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am February 27, 2023 at Harvest Assembly in Fair Play, Missouri. Officiating the service will be Lyle Shaulis. Music by Shonda Anderson, Rhonda Settles, Jeff King, and Bobby King
