Obituary for Tyler Corbin

With unbearable sorrow we must announce the unexpected passing of our angel, Richard "Tyler" James Corbin on December 18th, 2020.

Tyler was born on May 11th, 2003 to Kim and Richard Corbin in Springfield, Missouri.

Tyler has the biggest heart and showed it in the way he loved his animals, friends, and family so deeply. He was always there to help anyone in need, frequently volunteering to help others. Including postal food drives, working on vehicles, or just being a shoulder to cry on.

He attended Portland, Jarrett, Parkview, and Study in Springfield and was a member of the class of 2021. He excelled on trumpet in band at Jarrett and Parkview. He ran cross country, played football, and loved rock climbing. He dreamed of owning a motorcycle, getting more tattoos, and becoming a mechanic to continue helping people throughout his life.

Tyler touched the heart and souls of everyone he knew, we will all miss the sunshine and joy he added to life.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James Burroughs; his paternal grandparents, Alveeta and James Corbin.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Kim Corbin (Mike Bounds), Richard Corbin (Jeniffer Corbin); siblings, Elmer Burroughs, Rylee Spencer (Tre Spencer), Alexus Tindle, and Hailey Corbin; nieces and nephew, Avianna Tindle, Hazelynn Spencer, and Tobias Spencer; maternal grandmother, Marjenna Gittings; as well as uncles, cousins, and many friends.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home: 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri 65806.
