Obituary for Randy Douglas Saltkill
Randy D Saltkill, age 62 of Springfield, Missouri departed from this world on January 26th 2022. That cold winter evening God took Randy and a golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best.
Randy was born to Margaret & John Saltkill on September 23, 1959 making him the 6th kid. He had a total of 3 brothers and 7 sisters. Randy is survived by his wife Brenda Saltkill (Bren) which he married January 20, 1980. He is also survived by his daughter Brandy Smith, her husband Bobby Smith and his Granddaughter Shelbby Smith ( Sheldon Dean ) and Hunter Smith ( Bub / Bubbadean ) as well as his mother in law Mary Whiteley, a brother in law Frankie Whiteley as well as many brothers, sisters and in laws.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Margaret & John Saltkill, his brother Marty Saltkill, his father in law Frankie Whiteley, his sister in law Rebecca Whiteley and Brother in law Carl Whiteley as well as his oldest grandson Christian Taylor Smith and his great-grandchildren River , Bexley and Vella.
Randy was a hardworking man, a family provider, and the most wonderful husband, father and grandfather he could possibly be. Randy's greatest prize of life was his family and marriage of 42 years. He was an avid biker, with a great love and interest in many different thing’s life had to offer. The world stood still that chilly night and though alot of lives will never be the same we can find comfort in knowing he is in God's presence. On behalf of Randy's hopes and wishes we ask that you remember your fondest, wildest and craziest memories of him and keep dear to your heart. Remember him for how you knew him, not for the end of his life's ride.
