On Friday November 27, 2020 Peggy Lou Gee, loving wife of the late Vincent Lee Gee, fell asleep in death at the age of 78.

She resided in Springfield, Missouri and was born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky to the late Ova and Gladys Hughes.

Peggy was the loving mother of four children, two of them survive her, a daughter Reneé (Steven) and a son Phillip (Sheryl). She is preceded in death by two sons, Tony (Anna) and Bennie (Kasselyn). She was cherished by her 12 grandchildren, Nick, Zack, Alex, Sam, Terry, Jessica, Timothy, Meagan, Amanda, Trista, Marisole, and Sean. She has 10.5 great grandchildren, Emma, Charlotte, Saylor, Harrison (coming soon), Benjamin, Blakelin, Nicholai, Camaro, Abriella, Audrey, and Axel. She was a beloved sister to Betty Jane Hughes of Bell Gardens, California and preceded in death by her brother Ova Reese "Pete" Hughes from Springfield, Missouri.

Peggy loved spending time with family and friends. She adored cute animals, was an avid reader and coffee drinker, enjoyed putting puzzles together and spending time on the computer. She was known for her ‘quick wit’, generosity, humility, and big heart. She was a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness for over 45 years.

Peggy will be dearly missed and forever loved by all family members including cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration/memorial will be announced at a later date.
