Obituary for Misty May Shepard (Shepard)
Misty May Shepard passed away, February 23rd, 2022 at her home in Springfield, Missouri.
Misty, was born May 2nd, 1979, at Cox North hospital in Springfield, Missouri to Tina Russell. Her Mother Tina, along with the help of her grandparents, raised her in Springfield, Missouri and also moved to surrounding small towns while Misty was growing up.
Growing up, Misty loved spending time with her sister Rachel at they're Grandparents. She loved riding horses and being outdoors. She loved being around people and spent her teenage years and early adulthood hanging out with all of her friends. She often babysat her younger siblings and cousins. Misty had her first child, Hailey Marie Stephens, at the age of 20, and later had her son, Chance Alexander Shepard, at the age of 37.
Misty is survived by her Mother, Tina Russell; stepfather, Danny Russell; sisters Rachel Shepard and Misty dawn Russell; brother, Danny Russell Jr; daughter, Hailey Stephens and son, Chance Shepard.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday March 3, 2022 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel.
