Obituary for Marjorie E. Crum

Marjorie E. Crum was born June 7, 1923, to Clarence Melvin and Florence Offutt Brown in Hatton, Missouri.

Marjorie was married to John S. Crum on July 1, 1950, in Hatton, Missouri. John died September 2, 2005. Marjorie was in the business field for 10 years then taught piano for 26 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ozark, Missouri and a long-time member of the Centennial Baptist Church in Mexico, Missouri. Her hobbies included raising flowers, especially roses and African violets, sewing and reading.

Marjorie is survived by her 2 sons, David L. Crum and Daniel B. Crum (Marla); 5 grandchildren, Elizabeth Crum, Emily (Brian) Budd, Jameson Crum, Alex Crum, and Josh Crum; 4 great-grandchildren, Asher, Israel, Lily, and Hudson Budd.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Kathy Crum; 3 sisters, Dorothy Bradley, Helen Brown, and Frances Brown; 3 brothers, Harold, Arthur, and baby brother Maurice.

Marjorie’s favorite hymns are, “God Will Take Care of You”, “My Jesus, I Love Thee”, and “Why Do I Song About Jesus?”.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021, at the Union Baptist Church: 17620 Hwy JJ, Mexico, Missouri.
