Obituary for Marisha Jane Sakash
Our Beloved Marisha Jane Sakash passed away om October 10, 2023, at the age of 63 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born in Peoria, Illinois on November 22, 1959, to Paul and Barbara Sakash.
She attended Woodruff High School before moving to Shell Knob, Missouri in 1977 and graduated from Cassville High School in 1979.
After her dad passed away Marisha moved to Springfield, Missouri with her mom and started working in the laundry facilities at St. Johns/ Mercy Hospital. Marisha retired after 33yrs in 2023. Growing up Marisha enjoyed helping her mom raise and sell toy poodles growing up. She had an apricot poodle named Charle for almost 17 years. She also loved cats, especially Siamese cats.
Marisha has an older brother David and wife Cindi Sakash living in Bartonville, Illinois and younger brother Phillip living in Portland, Oregon. She has a nephew Joshua in Illinois, James Michael Eaton in Springfield, Missouri, niece Francis Marie Levi in Illinois, niece Christine in Illinois, nephew Patrick in Montana, and nephew Ryan in Illinois.
She was preceded in death by Mary Jo Bradshaw/Eaton and Eugene Roy Sakash.
Services for Marisha will be held November 18th, 2023 from 4-6pm at the Hampton Inn and Suites at 3370 E. Montclair St. Springfield, Missouri 65804 (417) 882-1003.
