Obituary for Manh "Mark" Van Tran

Manh "Mark" Van Tran, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Saturday morning, January 7th in his home, at the age of 67.

Manh was born on April 23, 1955, to Lot Van Tran and Sau Thi Nguyen in Saigon, Vietnam. When not in the kitchen he enjoyed testing his luck at the casino, it would always make his face light up. Manh also enjoyed the outdoors, he could be spotted at fishing holes throughout the area. But his favorite past time was spending time with his grandchildren who were the light of his life, Hunter and Elijah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lot and Sau.

He is survived by his sister, Lang Thi Tran, of Vietnam. A loving partner, Myra Rector, their daughter, Amanda Nichols, two grandchildren and a host of loved ones from America and Vietnam.
