Obituary for Kathleen Louise Walter
Kathleen Louise Walter, passed away Thursday April 11, 2019 at the age of 68.
She was born to Ray and Sophie Hinrichs on January 21,1951 in Ashton, IL.
She graduated in 1969 from Ashton High School and went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree from Illinois State University.
Kathy owned Ozark Antique Mall for many years. She had a love for nature. She spent a great deal of time outside working in her garden, watching the birds, or going for a walk. When indoors she would often be reading a book or working on a watercolor painting. Her favorite time was spent doing anything with her granddaughter Lily.
She is survived by her children, Chris and Nichole Walter; granddaughter Lily Walter; brother, David (Ginger) Hinrichs; sister, Judy (Don) Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Sophie Hinrichs; and brothers, Fred and Tim Hinrichs.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
