Obituary for Joseph Riegler "Joe" Hoffman
Joseph Riegler Hoffman, age 65 of Springfield passed away Tuesday April 30, 2019 in his home following a short illness.
Joe was born to Joseph C. and Betty (Barnes) Hoffman in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 11, 1953. Joe was a retired truck driver. His hobbies included woodworking, grilling, home projects, and mechanic work. Joe especially enjoyed spending quality time with his family and enjoyed photographing his granddaughters and nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Joe is survived by his wife of 46 years, Karen M. Hoffman; his son Joe D. Hoffman; his daughter Jessica Freeman and her husband Brett; his brothers Andrew Shane Hoffman and Edward Craig Hoffman; his granddaughters Lilly Marie Freeman, Adelyn Rose Freeman and Evelyn Grace Freeman and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri.
