John. E Beaber, age 62, from Pittsburg MO passed away on December 27th, 2021. He was born May 15th, 1959 in Kansas City MO. to Lona West. He Attended North Kansas City High School where he graduated in 1978. John and his beloved wife Jannice met during her son’s baseball practice. He knew they were meant to be the second he saw her. They were married on June 29th, 1996. In that time, they worked together to raise their combined 5 children together. For 30 plus years he coached baseball, wrestling, softball, and little league football helping shape the minds and spirits of many others with his best friend Ben Cardello who passed in June of 2020. In February of the same year John had been diagnosed with colon cancer that he fought and beat with chemo. John was a man who never knew a stranger and lit up the room when he walked in. After retiring and moving to Pittsburg MO in 2020 a friendship turned into family with John and Kathy Thurston. He also joined the local fire department where his family grew even bigger. In June 2021 the cancer returned, and a stroke put him in the hospital two weeks before passing. John was the type of person who would move heaven and earth for the people he loved and will be watching over us every day.
