Obituary for Jerome Richard Stone
Mr. Jerome Richard Stone, age 77, of Galmey, Missouri passed away early Sunday Morning, April 11, 2021 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cameron, Missouri.
He was born on July 27, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Samuel Stone and Kay (Turkelson) Stone.
Jerome was a truck driver for the Teamsters for many years. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1966.
Jerome is survived by his son, Kevin Stone and his wife Jennifer; daughter, Michelle Christiansen; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; two brothers, Wayne Stone and Burt Stone.
Graveside services will be held at Noon Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Clear Creek Cemetery, 7600 W. Farm Road 108 in Springfield, Missouri with services by Masonic Lodge #228 in Hermitage, Missouri. Full Military Honors will also be rendered.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri.
