Obituary for Jason Alan Norris
Jason Alan Norris, 49, of Willard Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 14th, 2023, due to complications of his heart illness.
He was born July 12th, 1974, in Springfield Missouri, the son of Alan Norris and Linda (Weber) Norris.
Jason started school at St. Joseph Catholic School and attended for his first five years of school. He later graduated from Central High School in 1994.
He started working at Safety-Kleen when he was 20 years old. He was a dedicated worker and had a long career of almost 25 years, until he became disabled and could work anymore due to his illness.
Jason loved animals, especially dogs. He enjoyed going fishing, and working with his hands, specifically woodworking. He adored spending time with his nieces and nephew since he wasn’t able to have children of his own.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Norris.
Jason is survived by his father, Alan Norris; his mother, Linda Norris; three brothers, Andrew Norris, Nathan Norris, and Joshua Norris; a sister, Rachel Norris; five nieces and nephews, and other extended family and many friends.
A Memorial Mass will be at 10:00 am, Friday, September 22nd, 2023, at St. Agnes Cathedral: 533 S. Jefferson, Springfield, Missouri 65806, with Father Lewis Hejna celebrating the services. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery: 4677 W. Division, Springfield, Missouri.
