James Edwin Fielder Jr.

James "Jim" Edwin Fielder Jr., age 66, passed away on Wednesday, November 23rd, 2022 at Spring Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born on August 23rd, 1956 in Whittier, California, the son of James E. Fielder Sr. and Virginia (Helfrecht) Fielder.

Jim grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He served the United States Navy from 1980-1984. He retired from Mercy Hospital as a janitorial worker.

Jim is survived by his son, J.D. Fielder and wife Missy Fielder, and their children Lindsay, Macklin, and Bennett; his brother Ed Fielder and wife Debbie Fielder, and their children Ginny and Jeff, and many friends and colleagues.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Fielder Sr. and Virginia Fielder, his wife, Lyndia Trester, and sister Denise Sphar.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday December 7th at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street, Springfield, Missouri.

Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Springfeld National Cemetery, 1702 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri.
