Harold (Hal) Rost, 92, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, in Magnolia Nursing Home in Springfield, MO.
Hal was born in Marshfield, MO. on June 16, 1929, to Austin and Gladys Rost. As a young boy they moved to Springfield, MO. where he spent his early years.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two younger brothers.
He is survived by Lynn, his wife in Springfield, Cheryl his oldest daughter in Illinois, and his younger daughter and her husband in Missouri, and several loving grandchildren.
Hal had some very close friends that he dearly loved and they know who they are. Despite the fact he liked to give them a hard time once now and then he knew how special they were and was assured they knew they were special also.
A native of Missouri he did travel, live and work in many states throughout this great country, but he returned to live out his final years in his beloved Springfield, Missouri.
He had accepted Jesus Christ as his savior this past year and for that we are all grateful in knowing he has gone to his eternal home to be with his Lord.
The family will not be having services and welcome all your prayers and blessings to be made in your own private ways.
