Obituary for Glenn Richard Leming

Glenn Richard Leming, age 85, passed away early Tuesday Morning, September 22, 2020 in Springfield, Missouri.
He was born on April 17, 1935 in Hysham, Montana the son of Preston Robert Leming and Mary Ellen Richardson Leming.

On April 20, 1957 he married the love of his life, Rexine Harriet Rowland in Corvallis, Montana.
Glenn worked for Montana Bell Telephone Company for 34 years retiring at a District Manager in 1990 at a young age.
He attended Praise Assembly Church. He led an active and fulfilling 85 Years. After going to High school in Hysham, Montana he served in the United States Navy at the end of the Korean War. He loved to be outdoors whether it was riding motorcycles, bicycles, or riding horses. He loved to water ski with his buddies and talk to people around the world on his Ham Radio. There was not a task he would not undertake. He loved working with his hands and fixed anything or everything. He built a clock out of all wood and a grandfather clock. He loved being outdoors and being productive, but he loved to play too.

He followed the grandkids to all their baseball games even when they had out of state tournaments. He would not miss a single game. He discovered he liked to ride the roller coasters with his great grandkids.

His later years he suffered a few physical issues but even when he cut off 2 and a half fingers making a dresser for his wife he never complained or appeared to feel much pain. He made the most of it and said his hand was that way so he could give the “love you” sign to his family.

He found it to be important to read through the Bible 1 – 2 times a year. He could not get enough of God’s Word. Even though we miss his BIG smile and him always trying to help around the “farm” even when it was hard for him, we know he is now seeing the Heaven he read about for so many years! But he is and will be missed here on earth!
Glenn is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rexine Leming; son, Glenn D. Leming and his wife Lora; and
