Obituary for Gina Lynn Jackson (Jackson)
Gina Lynn Jackson, 51, of Springfield Missouri, passed away at 1:35 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield Missouri.
Gina was born on June 17, 1971, in Springfield Missouri to Sherry Jackson and Gene Maples. Gina attended Springfield Public Schools throughout her educational career. Gina was the homemaker of the family, raising 3 children around the Springfield area. Gina was a loving person who always looked out for others. Gina had a selfless spirit and always placed others above herself. Even when times were tough, the unconditional love she had for her family and children was unwavering.
Gina loved the outdoors, and spending time with her children. Gina fell in love with the Lord and was baptized by her son, Joshua Jackson, on May 15, 2021. When Gina would call, she was always quick to remind everyone to say their prayers, and in tough situations, always remember to pray and trust the Lord to lead you through. Gina’s absence will leave a hole in the hearts of all who knew her.
Gina was preceded in death by her parents, Sherry Jackson and Gene Maples. She is survived by her Children Brandon Jackson of Buffalo Missouri, Joshua and Madison Jackson of Lawton Oklahoma, and Brandi Jackson of Springfield Missouri.
Visitation will be held at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield Missouri from 12:00 pm-1:00pm on Thursday, April 6, 2023. The funeral will begin at 1:00 pm in the Herman H. Lohmeyer Chapel. Burial will follow at Hazelwood Cemetery in Springfield, located at 1642 E Seminole Street. The service will be open to family and closest friends of Gina.
