Obituary for Frederick Henry Baurichter

Frederick (Fred) Henry Baurichter, 86, passed peacefully from natural life to eternal life on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, following a stroke that left him in a weakened condition. He was being expertly and lovingly cared for at Lake Stockton Rehab and Care Center in Stockton, Missouri where he shared a room with Norma, his wife.

Fred was born on February 1, 1935, the son of Robert George Baurichter and Minnie Evelyn (Adams) Baurichter Niederhelman. He married Norma Joyce Keithley on January 16, 1954 and they made their home in Springfield, Missouri.

He is survived by his wife Norma; son Tom (Ellen) Baurichter of Le Mars, Iowa; daughter Becky (Brian) Bengtson of Springfield, Missouri; sister Ruthie (Richard) Dalstein of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren: Bethany (Marty) Faber; Eric (Linsey) Baurichter; Brad (Kalee) Bengtson; and Cody (Hallie) Baurichter; seven great grandchildren: Zoey, Claire and Jacey Faber; Logan and Everlee Bengtson; Piper and Flint Baurichter. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepfather, Herbert Niederhelman; four sisters: Helen Trachsel Burre, Virginia Smith, Emma Jean Ferguson, and Rose Lee Keithley; two brothers: John Wesley Baurichter and Jim Baurichter (survived by wife June Baurichter).

Fred was a friend of Jesus and made his choice early in life to serve him and will be remembered for his love for the scriptures and his unwavering faith. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered for his love, patience, and belief in others, always seeing the best in everyone.

A private memorial service for Fred Baurichter is planned for Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:30pm.
