Obituary for E. "Kathy" Katherine Dameron
E. Katherine "Kathy" Dameron, 84, passed away at The Neighborhoods at Quail Creek on April 11, 2023.
She was born and raised in Saint Louis, MO and later moved to the Ozarks to begin her role as a mother. She then met James Damron and began her role as wife and devout Christian. Kathy retired from Dayco in Springfield. She would share how the experiences helped mold her to the woman we all grew to love and cherish and how these experiences taught her to believe in a cause greater than ourselves. She contributed to many causes that helped those in need, thus contributing to her role as a wife, mother, Grandma, great grandma, great great grandma, friend, neighbor, storyteller, hero, and a servant to God.
Mrs. Dameron is preceded in death by her husband, James Dameron, and her grandaughter, Holly Morgon Helms.
She is survived by her children, Richard Ruppel, Steve Helms, Mark Helms, Troy Dameron & Tina Dameron, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and long time family friend, Willy Twigg.
A Memorial Graveside will be held at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery 9:00am, Friday April 28, 2023, under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home.
