Obituary for Edward Miles Jr.
Edward Miles, age 62, passed away in Springfield, Missouri on Wednesday, May 13th, 2020.
Edward Miles was born June 21, 1957.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Edward and Jessie Miles, a sister, Jane Coleman, and two brothers, Edwin Miles and Edgar Miles.
Edward attended St. Louis Public Schools (Summer High). After high school, he began to work as a Sanitation Supervisor for Metro Sewer District.
Edward was a very loving out going person and didn't have a problem speaking his mind. You had to know him to love him and understand him. He had joy spending time with his family and friends joking around and listening to music. He was a joy to have around.
Edwards health began to fail him in 2001. On his journey in life, Edward met Angela Johnson, out of this came his one and only daughter, Shanelle. Then later on his journey continued and met, Phyllis Jearkins, he had two sons, Terrance and Cortez. Edward began to travel with Reverend Rice and met a woman named, Sandra Miles in 1997. He became gravely ill on May 13, 2020 with complications of Diabetes.
He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Patricia Oliver, St. Louis, MO, and Yalonda Brown, Dallas, TX, two brothers, Edward Miles Jr. and Damon Miles; two nieces, Twawna St. John and Kim Nelson; three nephews, Willis St. John, Phillip Russell, and Donald Coleman. He leaves behind ten grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and one Aunt, Derotha Miles, St. Louis, MO.
