Obituary for Donna Kay Naab

Donna Naab, originally of Brighton, Iowa, passed March 15, 2021 following an extended battle with CBD, a progressive neurological disease.

Donna was born on May 30th, 1945 in Brighton, Iowa. She left Iowa following her husband and love of her life, Gary to California, Minnesota, Missouri, ultimately landing on the Mississippi gulf-coast.

Her life was defined by her love of family, faith and travel. A devoted Catholic, Donna actively practiced her faith, volunteered in her community, and raised two beautiful children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Martha Fritz.

Donna is survived by her four siblings, Winnie Friese, Ronald Fritz, Jan Marek and Linda Walker. She is also survived by her husband, Gary Naab; children, Dana Wright and David Naab and their spouses Cameron Wright and Katie Naab, as well as four grandchildren, Beckham and Greyson Wright, Piper and Lily Naab.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 22nd at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2200 W. Republic Road in Springfield, Missouri with Msgr. Thomas Reidy officiating. Preceding Mass the family will be holding a viewing starting at 10:00 am. A precession to Donna’s final resting place will follow for interment at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 4500 S. Lone Pine in Springfield, Missouri. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri.
