Obituary for Donna June Gourley (Dudley)
Donna June (Dudley) Gourley, 72, passed away early Monday September 11th, 2023 at her home in Springfield, Missouri.
She was born March 28, 1951, in Niangua, Missouri to Elmer Cleo Dudley and Dorothy Fay (Detherow) Climer.
Donna enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed arts, crafts and being outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Earlene DeMint, brother Kenneth Dudley and beloved dog Daisy.
She is survived by her life partner Gail Evans of Springfield, three sisters Joan (Steve) Austin of Springfield, Pam (Mark) Erickson of Strafford, Tammy Martin of Ashland OR and one brother Craig Martin of Las Vegas NV. Children Richie (Heather) Gourley of Springfield, Misty (Troy) Holdway of Pleasant Hope, Candice Evans of Jackson MO, and Abby (Pete) Cassidy of Marshfield. Grandchildren Cody (Zadia) Carrier, Amanda (Lee) Wagner, Wesley Hannaford, Jessica Hannaford, Matthew (Madison) Holdway, Brennen Gourley, Pete Cassidy III, Vanessa Cassidy, and Harlow Grace Evans. Great Grandchildren Kayden, Raelan, Kaden, Remington, Teigan, Henry, and Oliver. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am Monday, September 18, 2023 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E. Walnut Street in Springfield, Missouri where Donna’s Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am with Reverend Tom Maples officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens with Matthew Holdway presiding.
