On October 08, 2023, Donald Eugene Ransom died unexpectedly in Cox Medical Center, Springfield MO, of heart disease. Don was 73 years old.
Don is survived by his sister Shirla M Ransom and brothers Grover Ransom Jr, Gary L Ransom, Billy J Ransom, and Timothy L Ransom Sr all of Kansas City Missouri. And his brother Michael G Ransom of Dallas TX. And a host of nephews and nieces.
Don is preceded in death by his Mother, Eugenia E Ransom, Grover Ransom Sr, Step Mother Mae Ransom and Brothers, Carl Ransom, Jimmy A Ransom, Bruce W Ransom, Glenn B Ransom, and Stanley K Ransom all of Kansas City Missouri.
Don was born November 08, 1949, in Kansas City Missouri. He graduated from Central Senior High School in 1967 and went on to attend Pittsburg State University in 1971 with a degree in Sociology. Don was on the debate team. And study Drama. Don enjoyed swimming and running. He loved to travel extensively. He loved men’s fashion, modeling, and music. Don lived free and lived on his terms, always seeking knowledge.
