Obituary for Corwin George Odom

Corwin George Odom, age 50 of Springfield, MO left this earth at 4:50 a.m. on Monday, March 6th at Select Specialty Hospital.

Corwin was born July 14th, 1972, to George and Dorothy Odom in Prescott, AR. He attended Prescott School District, graduated in May of 1990, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy upon graduation. He enjoyed talking about his Navy brothers, his experiences with the different cultures and countries during his time of service.

He later attended the University of AR Community College at Hope where he received his associate degree in Applied Sciences in Business and Technology in May of 1998.

Corwin was and always had been a family man. He often enjoyed being in the presence of his family, spending time with his nieces, nephews, and grandkids. He was the kind of man that you could trust and always lean on. Corwin was many things to many people, but a protector and provider for all those that he held near to his heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George, and Dorothy Odom; his grandparents, RG and Izora Jones and Critchton and Georgia Odom as well as his uncle, Charles Jones of Rockwall, TX.
