Obituary for Chevelle LeeAnn James
Chevelle LeeAnn James, 35, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2021. She was born August 24, 1985 in Springfield, Missouri to Keith and Karen (Ross) James.
She graduated from Glendale High School, class of 2004 and went on to attend Ozark Technical Community College. She worked as an Insurance Agent/Tech.
Chevelle’s greatest achievement in life is Gavin, her love and devotion to his care and wellbeing have always been her focus. She is loved by so many and a friend to everyone. Her smile, heart and sense of humor will be missed by all.
Chevelle was preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon and Martha James and Mary Watson; an uncle, Bill James; and a cousin, Jesse James. Left to cherish the memory of Chevelle are her son, Gavin Plumlee, her mother, Karen James, her father, Keith James, bonus mom, Jeannie James, sister, Brittany James, and many friends and extended family.
A visitation to celebrate Chevelle’s life will be held from 6 – 8 pm Monday, February 15, 2021 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home: 500 E. Walnut Street Springfield, Missouri 65806.
