As well as his younger brother Frankie Leo Whiteley and many other niece’s, nephew’s, great niece’s and great nephew’s.

Carl was an avid walker, one of the most interesting and generous individuals you would ever meet. He was a very simple man with a big heart who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, especially when it came to his family. Carl’s rock and foundation throughout the years were his niece Brandy Smith and his oldest sister Brenda Saltkill. Carl’s relationship with his niece Brandy, would be described as one of a kind, very special to say the least and the love shared was indescribable.

Carl’s relationship with his oldest sister Brenda was nevertheless unbreakable, she was not only his big sister but his caretaker, rock, foundation and much more. Whether she knew it or not, she was the topic of most of his conversations when she wasn’t around. A lot of Carl’s pride & joy, and a big portion of Carl’s world revolved around the relationship he had with his oldest sister Brenda.

Carl’s memory will forever be remembered and as simple as he was, there are 5 last things to forever note.
1- He was a good, caring man who gave more than he took, let alone asked for.
2- Do not judge a book by its cover, this was one of the biggest and lasting lessons learned and lived out by Carl.
3- Carl was an original, and your conversations were never boring.
4- He loved Ramen noodles, Hotdogs and Bologna.

And last but not least...

5- He was loved dearly and will never be forgotten. The world shifted a little when he departed and the days ahead will not feel the same for many. But as we must go on, Carl’s memory will forever live on and we ask that you remember him with your best and fondest memories.
