Obituary for Billy Franklin Colburn
Billy Franklin Colburn passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Buffalo Prairie Care Center.
Billy was born August 26, 1928 in Doniphan, Missouri to Clifford and Lucy (Smith) Colburn. He moved to Bolivar in 1954 and worked for Southwest Electric Coop and retired at the age of 65. He married Theresa Pfitzner in 1955. Billy and Theresa moved to Springfield in 2021.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years Theresa, his daughter Susan Colburn, his son Mark Colburn, his son Bryan Colburn (Kim); their children, Jessica Colburn, Abbie Brady (Tyler Brady); their children James, Alayna & Ivy Brady; his son Kelly Colburn (Rhonda); their children Ashley St. Clair (David St. Clair) and their daughter Lily St. Clair, his son Cody Colburn (Jin Win) their daughter Yudi Colburn; and other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be at 10 am Friday, July 28, 2023 at Resurrection Cemetery with Chaplain Bob Elder officiating, under the care of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. No visitation is planned.
