Obituary for Amber Roxanne Lindsay

Amber Roxanne Lindsay (Roush), age 33, of Springfield, Missouri was born in Redlands, California and spent most of her childhood in LaPorte, Indiana and most of her adult life in Lake County, Florida. She passed away suddenly of a brain aneurysm. She was flown to St. Louis to donate her organs. She left us on Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 10:30 am.

All those who have been lucky enough to have crossed paths with Amber would say she’s the most caring big-hearted unselfish person they met. In meeting her, most never knew the struggles and hardships she had over come with such a positive attitude even in the worst of situations. Even when she had nothing herself, she’d to great lengths to do for others including her death by being a donor. She was a caring mother, a strong sister, a beautiful daughter and the kind of friend everyone wishes to have. She absolutely loved being an aunt and was proud to be the big sister.

She joined in Heaven, her mother, Cynthia Marie Meckel.

She is survived by five children, Julie age 18, Joe age 15, James age 14, Jacob age 11 and Jeremy age 10 who reside in Florida. Five siblings, Jessica, Troy & Laci of Missouri, Heather of Florida, and Kristina of Indiana. Her father, Bob Lindsay of Bolivar, Missouri, grandparents, Anita & John Spence of Buffalo, Missouri, one grandmother in Florida, as well as one aunt, cousins, including being an aunt to eleven children of her siblings.

We shall forever keep Amber in our heart for she will be dearly missed.

Amber was cremated. A Celebration of Life Service is pending at this time. When those times come available, they will be posted the website.
