Obituary for Ada Lou Fenton
Ada Lou Fenton, 85 of Republic passed away peacefully in her home Thursday May 18, 2023.
Ada Lou was born August 25, 1937 in Miller, Missouri to Roy and Gurthal (Kingsley) Holcomb. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, David Fenton.
Ada Lou was a member of One Life Church in Springfield, she loved reading and the card making class at church.
She is survived by her husband of almost 64 years Jerry Fenton; her daughter Darla Shannon; her daughter-in-law Becky Fenton; her grandchildren Christyn, Lauryn, Brandon, Blake and Ashton; her great grandchildren Kimberly, Natalie, Alexander and Elijah and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 pm Monday May 22, 2023 in One Life Church 3245 S. Kansas Ave. Springfield, Missouri with Dr. Gary Fenton and Pastor Bruce McCrite officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Republic, MO under the care of Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.
