Rodger D. Fields, age 67 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at his home.

The son of Ira and Dorothy (Jackson) Fields was born May 31, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Rodger worked at Independent Electric as an electrical engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Danny Fields.

Survivors are his wife Annette (Simon) Fields; daughter, Shawntay Mark-Waddell and husband Brice of Springfield; two grandchildren, Matthew Mark and Mataya Mark both of Republic, Missouri; and three sisters, Mary Batson, Ellen Shipley and husband Carl, and Brenda Baughman, all of Springfield.
