Obituary for Wayne Lowell Trosper

Wayne Lowell Trosper of Springfield, Missouri passed away in his home on Tuesday March 3, 2015. He was born on January 26, 1933 in Breckenridge, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond J. Trosper August 14, 1899- May 1975, his mother Ruby O’Neal Barcus January 6, 1903- October, 1992, and his brother Grayson Trosper, December 13, 1925- June 22, 2002. He is survived by his wife Sandra A. Trosper, his daughter Judith L. Trosper, his sister Ramona Horn, his grandson, nephews, nieces, and other family members.

Wayne served with the U.S. Naval Reserve and was a retired U.S. Marshall. He managed several hotels and restaurants throughout the years, was an over the road truck driver and mobile home transporter. He also owned Freeway Traffic School in Riverside, California.

Wayne was a people person. He loved being around anyone and everyone. He was very outgoing and would talk to anyone for hours. He loved his wife “Sandi” very much! She was his world. You could be around him for five minutes and know just how much he loved and respected her.

A visitation will be held at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, 500 E Walnut Street, Springfield, MO 65806 on Sunday, March 8 at 2pm. A funeral service will follow, beginning at 4pm with Msgr. Thomas Reidy officiating.
