Obituary for Patricia Louise Petersen
Patricia Louise Petersen, 88, passed peacefully at Mercy Hospital on January 15th.
She was born on May 5th 1930 to Paul and Harriet Jones McClernon. She resided in Springfield since 1970, lived many years at The Gardens Independent Living and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She was strong being left with a daily reminder after Colon cancer 24 years earlier. She helped folks as a nurse at St. John’s Hospital and then loved the special needs kids on her Springfield School System bus.
She is survived by many loving friends, her children Pam and Brad of Springfield, Scott of The Woodlands TX, and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. As a U. S. Navy Veteran, she will be placed for rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
