Condolence: While I am sad feeling the loss of Dr. John Sisco, I am grateful to have shared many meaningful memories with Jack and his family through the years. First meeting him at USF in 1979 where he wholeheartedly effected many colleagues and friends while there, as well as in the years following him working across the country, with his compassionate actions and words all ways with his great sense of humor and insightful consciousness. He lived his life fully faithful with his family and friends continually 'giving service'to needed important work from mediation/helping resolve conflicts to building charity mobility chairs for handicapped poor people who never had any personal mobility before they received one of these handmade designs from the charity where he devoted many hours of volunteering work for years. His loving spirit of making a meaningful difference in his life living and choices is a legacy to honor, admire and receive inspiration. May his family and all of us find comfort in the many wonderful memories we treasure of him. May God continue to bless Jack, his loving wife Glen, his family and the many friends he touched in his life beautifully lived. Namaste...donna

Condolence: I was so lucky to have met Dr. Sisco when I started practicing law with his son Paul. What I enjoyed most about my encounters with him was his wit. He was a genuinely funny man, with a wry sense of humor that brightened every one he met. I observed from his children the profound and wonderful impact he had on their lives. What a wonderful man and life well lived.

Condolence: Don and I were deeply saddened to hear about the death of "Dr. Sisco." The man we knew was an incredibly bright, kind, and witty person. John tried to camouflage his big heart behind a somewhat gruff exterior. However, once you countered his witticism with one of your own, you had made a friend for life!

I remember when Dr. Sisco was helping us move to Nixa. I had suffered terribly with the knowledge that I had inadvertently sold Don's cherished pool table with our house in Springfield. I was riding to our new house in Nixa with Dr. Sisco in his covered pickup and my crystal collection. I thought that I could tap into his knowledge as a trained mediator to help me approach Don about his soon-to-be absent pool table. As a trained mediator, Dr. Sisco listened very carefully to my tale of woe. Once I finished, I was expecting to receive some sage mediator-type advice. I looked over at him and he was laughing so hard that tears were running from his eyes! I never did get any sage mediator-type advice because every time the pool table came up, he would start laughing!

He was a good friend, a good boss, and a good colleague. We will miss him, but we will are better for having known him. We are glad that he got to celebrate 60 years of marriage to the love of his life and we are glad that he got to see the Cubs win another World Series!

Condolence: My heart broke when I saw Dale's notice on FB Saturday morning. I worked with Sisco for only 5 years out of my entire work life, and they were some of the most fun years. Nancy Taylor and I drove him crazy at times, I'm sure, but he was ever the dearest man. He was also a man of honor and a man of truth. Rest in peace dear man. Glen, Dale, Paul, Jackie, Kim, - you all have my deepest sympathy.

Condolence: Dear Glen, Dale, Jackie, Paul, and Kimberly and your families. Words can not express what Dr. Sisco meant to my life. I am the educator I am today based solely on his mentorship. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. As a "Sisco Kid," I thank you for sharing him with us!! I am sure that was not always easy.
