William G. Burnett, age 72, passed away Thursday, April 4th 2018, at home in Springfield, Missouri.

He was born August 22, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan to George W. and Irma M. Burnett.

Survived by children Deborah K. (Donald) Smith and Robert W. Burnett. Grandchildren Stephanie (Rey) Navarro, Daniel (Michelle) Smith, Kristina (Timothy) Smith-Keaton and Robert T. Burnett. Also survived by 4 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents and one brother Robert L. Burnett.

Life long resident of Illinois, Missouri and Arkansas. Employed by Caterpillar for 10 years and retired self-employed owner of Triangle Excavating for 20 years. Graduate of Joliet Township High School Joliet, Illinois.
