Obituary for John Edward Tipton

John Edward Tipton
John Edward Tipton, age 57, was born June 24, 1960 at Mission Hospital, in Huntington Park, California.

He was brought up and raised in rural Missouri, by his father Harold Edward Tipton with the help of Harold’s family members.

As a boy growing up John was very good at sports. He graduated from High School, and was always a big help in whatever needed to be done at home or outside of the home. He kept that integrity throughout his lifetime.

His father had a big influence on him. At an early age, he became very interested in car racing which continued throughout his entire life as well.

In some period of his life he was involved in a little band, playing guitar. John was a very sociable person throughout and had made a lot of friends. He loved all his friends very dearly.

He loved nature and being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and most of all, the season of mushroom hunting.

John also had a very good work ethic, and wonderful painting skills, which we have learned about from his current employer that he was working for. We learned this from his boss almost a week before he died.

We surely will miss greatly, our dear John E. Tipton, and we look forward to seeing him again after this earthly life. Rest in peace our friend.

A visitation for John will be held from 2:00pm – 4:00pm on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri.
