Roger Dean Pendergrass, age 69 of Republic, Missouri passed away at his home Wednesday, September 28, 2016.

He was born March 11, 1947 in Lyons, Kansas a son of Roy "Cotton" Pendergrass and Gertrude "Dixie" (Ruckman) Pendergrass.

Dean is survived by one daughter, Michelle Stephens and her husband Rick; granddaughter, Heather; two brothers, Jerry Pendergrass and Stanley Pendergrass; his aunt Evelyn Ruckman; and a large family of cousins and friends.

Dean was a gentle and kind man who loved and appreciated his family very much.

Graveside memorial services will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery in Billings, Missouri on October 29, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
